Contek was involved with a project involving the collection, review and extraction of all relevant experience-based operational and technical information related to CO2 injection and production practices and technologies associated with oil and gas production. This may include: information related to enhanced oil recovery (injection and production), CO2 production, transportation, and conventional production of oil and natural gas with high levels of CO2. This study examines the possible application of this industry experience and technology for purposes of atmospheric carbon capture and sequestration (CCS).
